# Wallet Management

Astrum uses a **hybrid non-custodial model**:

* You authenticate with your **Phantom wallet**
* Astrum automatically creates a **new Turnkey-generated trading wallet**
* You remain the **sole owner of the private key**
* Astrum never has access to your private key and cannot restore it

This structure allows traders to benefit from high-speed execution and isolated trading accounts while still maintaining full personal ownership and on-chain control.
