# How to Buy a Token

#### **Where Buy Buttons Appear**

On trading platforms such as **Axiom, Photon, GMGN, Padre, Dexscreener**, Astrum adds its own **injections buttons** directly next to tokens that can be traded.

#### **How to Buy**

1. Open any supported exchange.
2. Find a token - you will see Astrum’s **injection buttons** next to it.
3. Click the token to open its chart.
4. Astrum will automatically detect the token - on the Astrum panel, you will see:
   * the same **token name**
   * the same **token logo**
5. Press any of the **green Buy buttons** (fast-trade presets).

#### **Quick Buy Without Opening the Chart**

You can buy directly from the list without opening the token page:

* Click the **Astrum Index button** to the left of the Buy injection buttons.
* The token will open instantly in your Astrum panel.
* Choose a Buy amount and execute the trade.

This is the fastest way to buy trending or newly deployed tokens.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://astrum-trade.gitbook.io/astrum-trade-docs/solana-trading/how-to-buy-a-token.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
